It’s very simple. Team Bananas are a collection of self-funding volunteers from all over Europe. Twelvethousand people, thousands of them children, are trapped on the Macedonian border. Conditions in Idomeni are beyond challenging. 
Food,shelter and firewood are scarce. We have been giving bananas to children in Idomeni since the borders closed. We go from tent to tent and talk to the families. 
Bananas supply a daily breakfast in an otherwise unpredictable day. Bananas are packed with nutrients, are easy to eat, and don’t need washing.All your money will bespent on bananas and only on bananas.
