On Google, your work is integrating your site well with your platform. One surefire strategy to reach your public is investing in content that is attractive to investors and advertising it on AdWords. The best subjects for your area are news items related to your industry, articles and guides published by specialized media in your niche, and so on. Produce original content so you don’t have any copyright issues, and also benefit from organic search engine rankings.
You can use dynamic ads (both for search and display networks) to make your work easier on this issue. Write or have someone write on popular topics for potential equity crowdfunding investors, adjust your budget, and let Google show ads to your content to your potential public. Don’t forget to add a form to capture visitors’ e-mails so you can e-mail market your base.
The search engine marketing strategy doesn’t end there. Use remarketing ads so you can advertise to those who already visited your site, in a much more cost-effective manner. If you’ve written good posts on popular topics, making a good impression on them, chances are good that you’ll spark their interest in your business. Remarketing also has a psychological effect that makes your company appear bigger than it actually is, by being featured in good websites over and over again and repeatedly appearing to your prospects.
Last but not least, don’t neglect Twitter nor Facebook. In our experience, Twitter does not attract as much attention as Facebook does, nor is it very cheap, but the large number of journalists and media people who use the tool make it an important social network.
On Facebook, you have a wide range of options to advertise to your target public. You can select them by interests, people who follow a specific profile and you can mix groups. That is still a cheap and easy way to direct your message towards your specific public.
Tip: if you use WordPress, there are some plugins that you can use to integrate forms in your site easily. We recommend using Contact Form 7 and Fast and Secure Contact Form. They are easy to edit and integrate with your site. It is also recommended to install WP Mail SMTP so you can configure your e-mail sending settings and Contact Form DB, which captures all contact form data and saves to database. Very useful if you want to export your contacts to HTML or CSV.
