The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show is an interactive program between the artists and the audience, dedicated to bringing you music by NEW & INDEPENDENT talent and helping them get airplay and recognition by top producers in the industry. Our goal is to help the Musicians, Singers & Songwriters that make The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show a success achieve THEIR goals of having their music recorded published and/or performed.

The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show is asking you to help us get the amount we need to return to the air for the remainder of 2016 and the entire year of 2017!
The funds will not only cover production and airtime costs but also all promotional expenses.
Most importantly
The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show regularly brings independent artists from all genres to New York City to appear on the show and perform at various venues in the area and has sent a few to Nashville to meet with top producers. The funds will allow us to continue to foster & promote new artists through arranging shows, personal appearances, travel, hotel accommodations and interviews with major principals in the music industry.
Our goal is to raise the funds necessary to air our program for the next year.
The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show aired on WRCR 13000AM out of New York it began as a “Labor of Love” started by southern born and bred Scott A. Stout affectionately known as REDNECK in those parts. The show is funded entirely out of pocket by Scott with a little help from a few sponsors here and there. Self described as ” A Picnic On The Radio!” it’s not uncommon to tune in and find the host and guests sampling cuisine from local restaurants and throwing back a few cold ones as they shoot the breeze and play music from around the world by new and rising stars.
In less than a year airing just one day a week (Wednesdays 6-9pm est.) over the airwaves and online the show was last estimated to reach listeners in 22 countries and 37 states. PLUS!!

The show is dedicated to NEW & INDEPENDENT artists and bringing their music to the masses.
Redneck can be credited with introducing New York to artists like Dallas Moore, Ashley Shannon, Jamey Garner, Ben Rush, Tre Michaels, Jimmy C. Williams, Tony Stampley & Pure Grain who are now receiving regular airplay on Gumbo YaYa and other radio shows in New York & New Jersey.
Many more will tell you that The Gumbo YaYa Radio Show either launched or boosted their careers. Some of the artists who have DEBUTED on the Gumbo YaYa Radio Show are Makayla Richardson, Christy Baker, StraightDavis, & Tracy Cage Band all of whom will be releasing new CDs in the near future.
