IT’S WHAT WE DO
Hello! We are In Search Of Sun, an alt rock band hailing from London, UK. Since the release of our debut album in September 2014, we have been busy writing and tracking our next album entitled “Virgin Funk Mother”.
Our story stretches back over the last 5 years and beyond, through friendships forged in adolescence, and kept alive simply through a mutual love of music. It’s this passion for songwriting, production and artistic integrity that we feel has kept us bound together as a unit, despite our various musical backgrounds and influences.
IN SEARCH OF SOUNDS
We were approached by Nolly Getgood from Periphery with the offer of mixing our forthcoming album. He did a rough test mix for us. That shit was banging.
You can check out the song in the video above. It’s the sound we’ve been searching for that we feel highlights our musical evolution. This is the next step in our transition.
We have decided to launch this kickstarter campaign to help us bring this new sound to you. The money raised will not only go towards covering Nolly’s mixing fee’s but it will also serve to pay for the band’s mastering costs for album number 2.
When everything comes together, it becomes something more than just the sum of it’s parts…it becomes a legacy, and we would like you to be a part of it.
Risks and challenges
No major risks, however, in the unlikely event that we sign a record deal, there may be a chance that the album release gets delayed. Should this happen, we will endeavour to advance copies to those that have pledged for them.
